Hello everybody!

Post-birthday-glow still present. Had one of the best birthdays of my 25 years of (young?) existence.

Tell me, what did I do? What did I do? What did I do to deserve the best family, friends, co-workers, boyfriend, and bandmates a gal could ask for? 

In a way, I'm afraid to be so happy. I think it's natural. I'm afraid, because the happier you are, the more room you have to be completely disappointed and hurt. The higher you fly, the harder you land. This is a natural fear, but not one that I listen to. Why should a person feel too afraid to realize their greatest joys and hopes? People, let us not limit ourselves or our passions or our joys. Do everything with a mighty heart, because someday it will all be gone. In the end, I think we'll only have stories to tell, things to recall and laugh about and share and remember.

A Brand New Baby.

I'm not dead, though some days I feel that way.

Thanks for checking the site to see what's going on with us! A lot, needless to say. Ben, Aaron, and I have scrambled around, tracking, practicing, gigging, and fighting / laughing a lot. It's been fun so far, a little bit of a whirlwind.

Anyway, we have some EXCITING NEWS! We have finally finished our ALBUM and will be calling it: Happy Birthday To Us!

We'll be releasing our baby on Sunday, August 15, 2010 @ Galaxy Hut in Clarendon. Consequently, it's also Ben and my birthdays, so we'll be rocking out. I will be wearing a summer Japanese yukata, and we invite you to eat cupcakes to celebrate with us!

Life is too short to be afraid to do the things you want to do. Just go for it! This is also why I need to wear a yukata ;)

Here's a few pictures of the past two gigs-- one at IOTA Club & Cafe (God, I love the place) and one in Brooklyn at Goodbye Blue Monday. Both were REALLY AWESOME shows and of course lots and lots of fun.
